2022 Fisher Hill Garden Tour
A favorite Fisher Hill Association spring tradition.
Sunday, June 5, 2022
Visit a handful of gardens throughout our neighborhood and stroll the grounds of the Longyear condo complex. You set your own pace over the two-hour time frame. The garden tour can also make for a casual fun way to meet neighbors close by or a few streets away. Advance registration required for this event. Use the form below.
SCHEDULE
2-4 pm Self-guided tour of gardens throughout the neighborhood
4-5pm Light refreshments and get-together at the Longyear Fisher Hill condo complex
(120 Seaver St., at the corner with Leicester St.)
On the day of the tour, check in at 185 Dean Rd. from 2 to 3:30pm to get a map of the tour route and your name tag. Each property on the garden tour will be marked clearly. On some properties owners/gardeners may be available to chat or answer questions. Please register in advance, do not try to “crash” the tour – we want our hosts to feel comfortable knowing who is entering their property.
For neighbors who will attend only the Longyear portion of the afternoon, your name tags will be at the gate house. Parking: Except for those with a Handicap Tag, everyone must park on the street and walk up the driveway to the reception.
PLEASE NOTE: The tour is open only to Fisher Hill residents since all gardens are on private property. Viewing is limited to the garden and landscape, with no access to indoor facilities. Restrooms will be available at the Longyear condo complex. We recognize that gardens on the tour may not all be necessarily accessible to people with mobility limitations. We ask that visitors not bring strollers into the yards. We also request no pets or unsupervised children.
Please contact Emeshe Juhász-Mininberg with any questions.
